Day is now serving a life sentence, fell dead at her home in Edison avo-nue avo-nue early yesterday morning Heart failure was the cause. Mrs. Voss was perhaps tho most prominent and best known woman In local colored circles. She owned much property and was acountcd wealthy. Before his death her husband hus-band uas known as the leader of his race In Salt Lake. Mis. Voss was in her usual health until 1 o'clock yesterday morning, when she suddenly complained of' pains about her heart while talking with a party of fi lends. She dropped to the floor, dead, before assistance could be given her. |
