D. Murphy, who allowed Charles Scott to go free this morning after ho had been arraigned on a charge of unlawful drunkonnoss. Scott is an employe of tho E. P Charlton & Co store, of which H. S. Crowther Is tho manager The manager man-ager and two polce officers testified that Scott was drunk yesterday. Scott denied that ho was drunk I Judgo Murphy ruled that the pris- I oner bo locked up In the city prison again until the afternoon, when he was to be given his freedom. |
