Show oo DEATH CLAIMS A PROMINENT WOMAN Death claimed a prominent club woman and earnest worker In sevoral sev-oral movoments for civic botterment when Mrs. Nettie V. Craig, wife of William Craig, president of the SrU Lako Valley Canning company, died at the family residence, -183 East Seventeenth street, a fow minutes after 5 o'clock yostcrday afternoon. Death was dne to heart trouble, and a complication of diseases from which she had suffered for tho past several years. At the tlmo of her death Mrs Craig was president of the Florence- Crlttenton home board and also occupied tho chief offico of-fico of the Home Culture club. She was a former president of the Woman's Wo-man's Christian Temperance Union In this city, jn which organization she was regarded as ono of tho most ardent and sincere workers. Mrs. Craig wag also ono of the founders of the Children's Aid society In this city. Sho was bom In Mnnnsvillc, Jefferson Jeffer-son county. New York. September 3, lSt3. Her marrlasc to William Craig took placo 37 years ago. Besides tho husband she ia survived by two sons and two daughtors. William and Harry: Har-ry: Nettle Lou and Bella.
