Show oo HYORPRO TER Mayor Glasmann advised the cit. council last evening that he would leave the city for a week or ten days and that during that time the president presi-dent ot tho United States, would visit Ogden, and asked that a mayor pro torn be appointed In ordor that the latter might proceed at once to make tho necessary arrangements for the president's visit. On motion ot Councilman Coun-cilman Wilson the president ot the council, T. Samuel Browning, was elected as mayor pro tern during the absence of the mayor. Mr. Browning will at once appoint a committee of 100 repicscntlng all parties par-ties to act as a reception committee.
