Hodbon attacked at-tacked William Taylor of Plain City tvlth an ax, inflicting several painful gashes on the head and arms Both men were brought to police headquarters by Officers James Hearn and Al Herrick Taylor was bookoJ on a charge of disturbing the peace, but he refused to prefer a charge against Hodson, and the latter was released from custody. According to the police version of the affair, Hodson Is employed at night at the sugar factory. Monday night, at the request of a neighbor, ho returned home unexpectedly at about 11 o'clock and was refused admittance to the hoifse. Upon hreaking a window win-dow and climbing in he found Taylor. The angry husband proceeded to beat up the man and, It Is claimed, struck him with an ax. Neighbors then guarded the house to prevent Taylor's escape, while Hodson summoned sum-moned the police. Taylor deposited $10 as bond for his appearance in court. |
