Show EXAMINER IS UNDER NEW CONTROL Tho first Issue of tho Morning Examiner Ex-aminer published by its now owners appeared this morning, tho general makeup of the paper being completely changed from tho style In which It has hcretoforo been printed. Tho Initial issue contained sixteen pages with a number of featuro articles ar-ticles relating to local institutions. The paper is bong prnted on a new flat Goss press, in a new office on Hudson avenue and this fact together with tho uso of new type gives it a very presentablo appearance. Most vf tho membors of tho news staff huvo formerly- been connected with the Examiner under the old management man-agement or with tho Evening Standard Stan-dard so that thoy liavo the local situation sit-uation well In hand. This morning's copy of the Examiner Ex-aminer Is believed to have mado a good Impression with Its readers. The articles of incorporation for the tho now company were filed with tho county clerk Saturday afternoon. The company is capitalized at $50,000, thero being 10,000 shares of $5 each. Threo thousand of these shares will bo retained as treasury stock. The remaining stock is said to bo fully subscribed and paid up. Following Is a list of tho stock subscribers: Shares, M. S. The officers aro as follows: M. S. Browning, president; F. J. Klosel, vice-president; LeRoy Armstrong, secretary, and Otto P. Meckos, treasurer. treas-urer. These, togethor with A. L. Brewer, P. J. Moran" and J. U. El-dredge, El-dredge, shall compose tho board of directors. LeRoy Armstrong, formerly connected con-nected with tho Herald-Republican of Salt Lake City, -will act as managing man-aging editor and edltor-in-chlf; E T. Spencer, formerly employed with the Examiner, will act as night editor, and A. W. Had ley, formerly with tho Herald-Republican, is employed as city editor; C E. Hook is In charge of tho advertising department and Henry Eckhardt isbooitkeeper and general office man, Dexter B. Bills is foreman of the. mechanical department. de-partment. Nearly all the men connected with tho paper aro very wealthy people, threo or four of them supposed to be millionaires, and tho paper is suro to bo a snecess because tho incorporators incorpor-ators havo the means to mako it such Just who M. S. Browning is trusteo for, for ovor half of the entire stock subscribed, tills paper Is unable to say.
