Fall of New Mexico, Republicans, and M. M Smith and II. F. Ashurst of Arizona, Democrats, Demo-crats, were tho new members to take tho oath of the dias In front of tho vico president's chair. Two ballot boxes hac been drafted into uso for t'ae lottery determination of the lengths of their senatorial terms, following their induction into orficc. Each ballot box contains a blank and a numbered slip, tho Arizona Ari-zona senators drawing in alphabetical order from one box and the Now Mex-Jcnnn Mex-Jcnnn from tho other. Tho senatordraw-ing senatordraw-ing number ono in each case will serve 1 r until March ? 1917.
