Show COMPLICATIONS IN THE EDDY ESTATE CONCORD, N FT,' March 2L One more legal twist to the already complicated com-plicated litigation over the will of Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the Christian Science church, was given today bv counsel for John B. Baker, of this "city. Mr. Baker, who claims to be a grand nephew of Mrs. Eddj through his counsel, filed a potition in the superior supe-rior court asking leave to intervene in tho suit now pending In that court against Henry Mv Baker, executor of the Eddy estate In this suit, brought by George W. Glover, of Lead. S. D Mrs Eddy's son, and Dr. E. J Foster Eddy, of Waterbury, Vermont, her adopted son. Tho plaintiff's claim that the residuary residu-ary clauee in Mrs. Eddy's will was void because it provides for a bequest to the First Church of Scientist, Boston. Bos-ton. The plaintiffs acxed that the residue estate, estimated at approximately approxi-mately $2,500,000, be given to them, as next of kin to IMtb. Eddy. " George W. Baker today also filed In the United States district court a petition to intervene In the suit Drought In that court against Executor Exec-utor Henry M. Baker by Dr. Foster Eddy. The Issues are practically tho same as those involved Jn the suit in the state court, and George Baker bases his petition on the same groundB namely: That if the residuary residu-ary clnuso is declared Invalid he will be entitled to part of the residue.
