Show m PO CONFERENCE OF WEBER STAKE i The quarterly' conference of the Weber We-ber stako wag held yesterday and arge crowds attended the three ses- Islons at the tabernacle in spite of tho inclement weather. Two prominent churchmen from Salt Lake City addressed ad-dressed the morning and afternoon sessions and a Mutual Improvement isboclation officer of Zion addressed Uie evening meeting, The morning session was held at 10 'clock and following the general ro-ort ro-ort on the condition of the stake by Counselor John Watson there wore re-; re-; Dorts by the Sunday school superln- endent and religious class suporlntcn-H suporlntcn-H lent. Charles H. Hart, of Logan, and of he first seven presidents of seventy, then addressed tho meeting and was followed by Apostle Heber J. Grant, of Salt Lake. There were a number of excellont musical selections by the ward choir, together wltb numbers by the choir soloists. At tho 2 o'clock session tho local and general authorities presided and there were brief talks by the visiting churchmen. The meeting last evening was under the auspices of tho Young Men's and Young Ladles' Mutual Improvement Im-provement associations. This session was addressed by Willard Done, of the Salt Lake y. M. M. T. association. |
