Show ie. FISHER BACK FRON CONFERENCE The Rev. Frederick V Fisher of the First Methodist church returned homo yesterday from a short trip to Wyoming, Wyom-ing, where he went to attend the annual conference of tho Methodist church of that state On account of the absence of the regular secretary Mr. Fisher was appointed ap-pointed to fill the vaeanoy, and at the same time was present at the meeting meet-ing held as a dolegatc-at-largo The conference was held af Cheyenne, and wns presided over by Bishop Warren of Denver He took an active part in the proceedings pro-ceedings and delivered two addresses before the board of church extension, on the temperance question, and also on educational Hues. After the Cheyenne meeting he went to Laramie, to visit some friends, and whftr there, wm pleacod to see thp completion of the new high school, which is built according to modern ideas This building cortains a fully equipped gymnasium and baths and has many features that are lacking In that of Ogden. In speaking of the University of Wyoming, Mr Fisher stated that for its size and the number of Its students 200 It is one of the best he has ever seen.
