Epperson of this city was B tlected grand communder of- the H Grand Commandery of Utah, Knights B Templar, at the convention held in m fait Lake City yesterday and a iium- H ber of otlicr Ogdenites were given H minor offices. H The meet at Salt Lake was well at- H tended and closed with an elaborate H banquet last night. Following is a pom- H plete list of the officers chosen: H Grand commander, J. H. Epperson H of Ogden; deputy grand commander, H Dr. H. X. Mayo of Salt Lako; grand H generalissimo, Harry Hughes of Park M j City; captain general, John F. Lewis, M of Ogden; grand senior warder, C. F H Jennings of Salt Lake, grand junior H j t ardor, W. H. Cunningham of Salt H j Lake; grand prelate, Samuel PauV of H Bait Lake; treasurer, W F. Adams H , of Ogden; recorder, V A Raddon of H Park City; grand standard bcaror, R. H W Macdonald of Park City, sword H bearer, John T. Brackon of Salt Lako; H frand warder, J. W. H ' Dr. Epperson staled this morning H that he will begin at once the prepnra- H Uons for the triennial conclave which H Is to be held in Denver in August, j 1013, as it is the intention of tha "Utah H commandery to make an exceptional- H ly good showing at this big meet. The H Utah commandery has never partlcf- H pated In a triennial conclave, the or- H gnnizatiou not being in existence, H wlien the last one was held. Although H the event is still two years in the fu- H ' turo it already has been planned to H I have a special train carry the Utah H i contingent to the conclave and it is 1 estimated that about 150 Knights will H 1 e mustered to make the trip. |
