Show OGDEN SHOT BREAKS ALL RECORDS The gun clubs of Ogden and Salt Lake have recently been exchanging courtesies, much to the delight and entertainment of both organizations. The entertainments are in the nature na-ture of shoots and feasts, tho wives of the members of the club3 being invited in-vited guests. Arhcie Bigelow of the Ogden club says the feeling between the two clubs has never been more congenial and harmonious than now. In the latter part of June, the Ogden Og-den boys were the guests of the Salt Lake club In a friendly shooting contest, con-test, prizes being offered for the best Individual shooters After the contest, con-test, delicious luncheon was served and the members of the clubs, with their wives and sweethearts, passed an enjoyablo afternoon and evening In social recreation. July 24 the Ogden Og-den club returned the compliment by holding a shooting contest and entertainment en-tertainment at the Ogden Gun club grounds, on Thirty-fifth street and Madison avenue. After the contest, luncheon was served and a Jolly good time wa6 had. The shooting on this day Is said to havo been somewhat remarkable, the scores all having been high and the record for 100 straight shots having hav-ing been broken by Mr Bigelow of the Ogden club Mr. Bigelow made 100 straight hits, the contest being 100 birds The gunners say this Is the record In a shoot of that sort, no other man In the state having made It and, the marksmen say, they know of no other man In gundom who has dono such shooting Mr. Bigelow was the winner of both prizes, ono being a loving cifp for the best 100 shots and a merchandise prize for the handicap. The Ogden club will be entertained at Salt Lake again about September 15, , Following Is the score of July 24- A P.
