Show BUILDING ON THE INCREASE Business Blocks and New Homes Continue to be Constructed and More Structures Are Planned Brick Laying- on the New Theater on Twenty-fifth Street New Office Buildings. Notwithstanding the somewhat lethargic leth-argic condition of building operations in other cities of the state, Ogden keeps well along in the erection of 'buildings and jn making other improvements im-provements of a substantial nature. There are many residences going up in tho city, and business houses that have been commenced are being pushed to completion. Brick laying has begun on the new theater building on Twenty-fifth street, between Grant and Lincoln avenues. The basement Is finished and there will be no necessity for delay In the brick laying. The large concrete floor for the basoment of the Commercial National bank building on Grant avenue, between be-tween Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth Twenty-fifth streets, has been completed and the plasterers and lathmon are busy making the partitions on the upper floors. Painters have also begun their operations, and the floors on the second and third stories will be placed by carpenters within the next few days President Heywood. of tho bank states that he expects the building build-ing to be ready for use in the early part of June. Lilndquist has commenced the erection of an addition to his undertaking un-dertaking .parlors on Washington avenue, between Twenty-sixth and Twenty-seventh streets, that will cost over $1,400. William Fisher is spending $500 in the building of an addition to his business busi-ness Wock on fwentj -fifth street, between be-tween Grant and Lincoln avenues. Mrs. S. Tracy is building a home on Hudson avenue, between Twenty-sixth Twenty-sixth and Twenty-seventh streets, that will cost $1,500. On Twenty-seventh street, between 'Monroe and Qulncy avenues, George Biddulph is putting up a $500 addition to his residence. I Walter Irwin is erecting a dwelling house on Williams avenue, between Twenty-seventh and Twenty-eighth streets, that will cost $1,000. Charts Ford is building an addition addi-tion to his studio on Twenty-fourth street, between Washington ad Ad-ams Ad-ams avenues. The cost will be about $G00. G. L. Becker has begun the building build-ing of) a residence on Lincoln avenue, between Nineteenth and Twentieth Btreets. It will cost upwards of Sl,-C00. Sl,-C00. Dr. E. C.
