Hancock, who was on board the Overland limited when that train was held up near Reese on tho night of January 2, has been called to Chicago to testify at the Inquest of Allon Taylor, tho colored man whose death was due to blood poison lug which resulted from the gunshot wound In the arm. It will be remembered that Taylor was the negro porter in tho same compartment com-partment with William Davis when the latter was shot down and Instuntl killed by the bandits. The Injured man was in tho Doe Memorial hospital here for three months and died a week aftor his return to Chicago. Tho trainman left last evening for thy Illinois city. |
