Show PARCEL SHOWER. Mrs W. D. Tribe and daughter, Mrs. Thomas Taylor, entertained at the Tribe home at a parcel shower Wednesday Wed-nesday evening in honor of Mrs Tribe's (laughter, Miss Leona Hetzler, who will be the bride of R. D Lynch, June 14. The home was tastefully decorated In the hrldal colors, pink' and white, and delicious refreshments were served serv-ed in the prettily appointed dining room. Music, games, the opening of the parcels, accompanied by the usual felicitations and pleasant floreensts for the bride and the young lady opening open-ing the last parcel were enjoyed Many useful and pretty gifts were the offering offer-ing to the happy young bride-to-be The winners of prizes were. Miss May Paskett, first price, In the bean game, and Mrs. Will Reeves, consolation consola-tion prize. The guests present were: Mesdames Will Reeves, Jed Jones, W D. Stone, James Wilson, E C Johnson. Walter Taylor Thomas Taylor, James Ashley, Thomas Clark, Ro Tribe, . W Eggie ston, John Melburn, Sarah Smith. W. Wllkerson: Misses Eva Hetzler, Etta Reeves, Belva Tribe, Grace Petterson, of Arizona: Maud Lynch, May Paskett, Fern Wilson and Fay Tribe." Mrs. Ed Chatlain and son Charles Chatlain have gone to Portland and Le Grande, Oregon for a ten-day trip. Mr. and Mrs. N. F. Miller left to-day. to-day. accompanied by Miss Leone Red-fern Red-fern and their daughter, Stella, for Wyoming where they will attend the wedding of their son, Vego N Miller, which will occur June 14, and will spend three months visiting friends and relatives in the state. nn |
