Show CONDUCTOR ROBBED AT POINT OF GUN. Provo, Jam 20. Conductor Edwin F. Marshall of 11 Denver & Rio Grande freight train was held up and relieved of a small sum of money at Castfjla this morning at 7:30. Two mon, who were beating their v.av on the'traln, wore put off by Mr. Marshall and they got oven for tho lack of courtesy on the part of tho railroad man by relloing him of his J looao change at the point of a gun. firing a couple of shots at him and then escaping. The sheriff's office" here was notified noti-fied and Deputy Sheriff T. V. Jackson Jack-son of Colton worked westward along the track and Deputy Sheriff Felix Bachman casL from Provo. Two suspects -were arrested at ila-pleton. ila-pleton. They give tho names' of Wil-' liam Kd wards and Robert Dale. Dale claims to be from California and Edwards Ed-wards to be from Nephl, and to be an adopted son ofVJ L. Fpote, county attorney of Jua'b county. The two young men have no guns and the officers offi-cers here do not believe they are the robbers, but they will probably be held till Conductor Marshall can see them. |
