S. navy n station, which are received daii requesting -information about th new enlistment program, the u lowing information may be of tcrest to all young men betw, the age of 17 to 30 inclusive. Young men attaining the a- of 17 are, accepted with Uifr parents consent for minority en listment minority enlistees ate j discharged from the naval semfe ;the day before reaching the ate of 21, and are credited with a tun I four yeais enlistment for retire-i retire-i ment bene'rits. 1 I I Men 18 and over are enliSM . for four full years. All men enlisting in the re ilar navy are granted a 10-da, I leave prior to being sent to the j naval training center at San Diego California. j The training period consists o! ! three months. Upon completion oi this military training, men are i selected for class "A" schools that the navy maintains through.' out the United States, or, are transferred to sea duty with th United States fleet. The navy offers the' follow j opportunities to all young men who qualify: (a) To learn a skilled trade, taught by experienced 'Instructors! with the best equipment. (b) Free medical and dental treatment, with continuous pay. (c) Good clean quarters and wholesome food. (d) Thirty days leave annually, with pay. . (e) Rapid promotion, good pa; and an early retirement. (f ) Travel to foreign countries, with liberal shore liberties. All navy recruiting stations are able to answer questions pertaining pertain-ing to individual problems, and solicit inquiries from those interested. inter-ested.
