Wednes-day. Company oflcials reported that orders hove been placed for two now-type, air-conditioned $15,000 buses to be used on the passenger run. They expect to place them in service in the near future. Improvement of the railroad track bed will be completed as soon as possible and equipment will be modernized and renovated. Commissioners also approved a $200 grant requested by Miss Amy Kearsley, county home demonstration demonstra-tion agent, and Mrs. Daniel Irishman, Irish-man, Wcllsville, for staging 4-H club shows. Miss Kearsley told the commissioners that the 64 clubs in the county have an enrollment of more than 450 members. Approval was given to the county coun-ty Agricultural Adjustment administration admin-istration office to move to the Cache Knitting Mills building, 124 South Main, if office spaces can be arranged. Present offices are located lo-cated at 53 West First North'. |
