Show Professor and Mrs. Parley E. Peterson and Mrs. Irving Waster-1 muii called on relatives here Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Reed Garff and son Martin Mar-tin Reed of American Fork are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Roskelley. Miss Loan Ferrell spent the past week in Salt Lake visiting with her grandmother, Mrs. Matilda Mortensen. Mrs. Jennie Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Hillyard Johnson of Logan Lo-gan were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hillyard on Sunday. ' Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meikle of Logan were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Meikle on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Hillyard of Oi'dun were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hazen Hillyard on Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. William A. Petty were pleasantly surprised Saturday Satur-day evening by a group of their relatives. The occasion being their birthday anniversary. Those present pre-sent were Mr. and Mrs. John H. Peterson, Mrs. Laura C. Peterson, Miss Marie Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Weeks and family, Miss Violet Peterson, Mrs. Mary A. Hale, Mrs. Leah Moe, Mr .and Mrs. Merrill L. Peterson, Evelyn Peterson. Refreshments were served serv-ed and the evening spent in social chat and games. Dr. J. T. Carlisle of Logan was the speaker at the Fourth ward services Sunday evening. Bert Kidman of Salt Lake City visited with friends on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. George Kennington of San Diego, California, spent ten days visiting with Mrs. Kenning-ton's Kenning-ton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Miller and family. Mrs. Laura C. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jackson and Mrs. Glen Tout attended a party Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Reese at Benson. The Birthday club entertained on Friday afternoon at a no-host luncheon in honor of the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Emma Hansen. Han-sen. Ten club members were included. in-cluded. The afternoon was spent in sewing and bridge. Mrs. Richard Rich-ard H. Toolson was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Hansen received re-ceived many gifts.
