PRESTON, Idaho Final arrangements ar-rangements for "That Famous Nite Rodeo," the Preston Horse Show and the Franklin County I Fair were completed at a joint meeting of all committees here Monday evening. The sixth annual rodeo scheduled sched-uled for the evenings of August 22 and 23 will undoubtedly be the largest, most elaborate show in the history of the colorful celebration. The Hillside Rodeo stock will furnish the thrills and spills for all rodeo events including includ-ing a better-than-ever array of Brahma bulls, bucking horses, steers, calves, etc. The best array ar-ray of special acts and talent in the west will be here to add new color and interest to the show. Elaborate plans are also being made for the Preston Horse Show on August 21. Some of the West's best horses will be displayed again this year, for in the past few years this part of the big celebration celebra-tion has been haJed as one of the outstanding Horse Shows in the intermountain west. The Franklin County fair will be 1 held during the days of August Aug-ust 22-23 and advance reports indicate in-dicate a stellar attraction. New seating capacity has been added to the stadium this year, boosting the capacity to 7,200 which will provide seats for everyone ev-eryone attending. Overflow crowds of last year made it necessary to add 1,000 new seats. All the grandstands, bleachers and chutei are now being repainted i readiness read-iness for the opening. As in the past the shows this year will again have popular, low Ifriced" admissions. |
