Show J COVE s $ COVE Wavie Allen, Mary Hendricks, Hen-dricks, Elsie Allen, Verna Robinson Robin-son and Elva Allen were at an old time quilting party at the home of Mrs. Francis Allen. The quilt was finished and a delicious dinner din-ner served and all had an enjoyable enjoy-able time. Thomas Hendricks, superintendent superinten-dent of the Cove Sunday school, ; conducted last Sunday. After the staging which was conducted by Leora Allen, S. W. Allen opened with pr.iyer. Miss Joleen Allen was organist. Classes were conducted con-ducted until the - commencement of the fast meeting. Bishop Allen presided. Sacrament was administered admin-istered by Seth Allen and Lavar Hatch assisted by Gilbert Allen, Richard Hendricks and O. Dean Anderson. Marie Eskelson 'and Ar- dis Allen sang a vocal duet. Alfred Al-fred Allen announced the old folks party at Lewiston next Saturday. Sat-urday. Bishop Allen bore his testimony testi-mony and turned the time to the congregation. Quite a number took advantage of this opportunity. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Harrison were guests of Mr. 'and Mrs. Fen-ton Fen-ton Hendricks, Saturday evening and Sunday. They attended a birthday party honoring Milo Harrison Har-rison and Walter Thompson at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Harrison. Har-rison. Supper was served and a social evening was spent-Wedding spent-Wedding bells will soon be ringing ring-ing for Miss Edras Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Allen. Miss Allen is now working in Ogden. Quite a number of our Cove mothers are preparing to work a shift for four days a week in Ogden. They will drive if plans ran be perfected for them. Mr. and Mrs. Mjx Harrison were Cove and Richmond visitors on Monday. Albert Day and Reed Hendricks sure working for the railroad out of Salt Lake and Ogden. Elsie Allen, Mary Hendricks, Wavie Wa-vie AHe nand Delia Allen were in Logan on business Wednesday |
