Show 3?.' LISOSE WILL LAURA SOTH Mrs. Laura F. Smith, assisted by her children, will preside at an open house reception at her home Sunday, February 22, from 2 till 6, in honor of her 80th birthday. All friends and relatives rela-tives of the family are invited to call during the appointed hours. Mrs. Smith was born on February Feb-ruary 26, 1862, in the old fort of Smithfield, the daughter of Robert Rob-ert L. and Priscilla Noble Fish-burn. Fish-burn. When a child she was taken with her parents to live in Brigham City. She married Abraham Smith in the Salt Lake Endowment house December 2, 1S60, and in their early married life returned to Smithfield, where she has since lived. Her husband died July 17, 1932. She is the mother of eight children, four of whom are liv-j liv-j ing. They are: A. LeRoy Smith j and Mrs. La Von McCann of ; Smithfield, Clifford F. Smith of Bountiful, Utah, and - Mrs. Pris-i Pris-i cilia Blackhurst of Arimo, Idaho. I She also has thirteen grand- children and seven great grand children. Mrs. Smith has always been a faithful member of the church and devoted mother and grandmother. |
