Show Dairy Industry Leader Dies Victor Johnson. 69, .resident of Richmond for sixty years where . he was identified with development develop-ment : of the condensed milk industry, in-dustry, died early Friday morning in the family home of heart ailment. ail-ment. He was born July 8, 1876 in Tom-atawaddo, Tom-atawaddo, Sweden, a son of John and Anna Johnson, and came to the United States with his widow ed mother when he was eight years of age. As a young man, Mr. Johnson was employed by the old Richmond creamery and for 40 years was an employee of the Sego Molk Co., in Richmond as superintendent of the plant, and at other places in Franklin, Idaho, Smithfield and in Gait, CaL ! Mr. Johnson was active in civic affairs of Cache county, served as a member of the city council 13 years and was interested in community com-munity welfare programs. A member of the church, he served as a missionary to Sweden from April, 1901, to September, 1903, and was active in Cache Valley Council scouting circles. Survivors include his widow, one son, Arlo Johnson, Los Angeles, Cal., two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Johnson Nebeker, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Anna Johnson Kimball, Oakland, Oak-land, Cal., and two grandchildren, ' and one brother, Helmer Johnson Logan i Funeral arrangements will be ' anounced by the Hendricks Mor. j tuary, Preston, Idaho. |
