Show Democrats Hold Successful Party Rally Despite interruptions by a "blindfolded" "blind-folded" skunk, Cache county Democrats Demo-crats launched their 1942 election campaign with a successful rally Wednesday night at Camp Gui-navah Gui-navah in Logan canyon. The skunk, which got a glass jar stuck over its head, wandered blindly through the camp several times as rallyers shouted, "Look! a Republioan"! Following games and a luncn-eon luncn-eon at 8 p. m. members of the party gathered at the amphitheatre for a program and speeches by visiting state officials and local candidates. .,.,. Speakers included Third District Court Judges Clarence E. Baker and M. J. Bronson and state Supreme Court Justice David W. Moffat, all supreme court candidates; candi-dates; State Committeeman Karl B. King of Salt Lake City and State Chairwoman, Mrs. Scott P. Stewart of Salt Lake City. |
