A luncheon was served by the hostesses: Mr. Brown, Mrs. Louise Lou-ise Petersen and Rosella Larsen. Mrs. Bert Brown entertained at a dinner party at her home on Thursday. Invited guests were Mr. and Mrs. Cless Hyer and fam i y of Lewiston, Mrs. Charlotte Allen of Logan, Bessie Brown, Mrs. Ida Brown, Mrs. Courtney Brown and son Craig- A nice visit was enjoyed follow ing the dinner. A fireside meeting was held on Sunday eveinng atthe home of Miss RubyBocitero by members of the M Men and Gleaner depart ments of the MIA under the dir- ' ection of Class Leader .Jettjie! Obray and Ruth Lee. The evening's program consisted consist-ed of vocal so os foy Emma Lyle Newbrand piano solo by Maxine Howells, readings by LaBelle Gibbs and Josephine Lofthouse. T-Sgt. Norman W. Pearce gave a talk relating to some of his experiences exper-iences while overseas. Lunch was served to seventeen guests by host esses Ruby Bodrero and LaVon Thomas. Mr. Vandell Lofthouse and children of Salt Lake Citv and Mr. and Mrs- Roy Reese of Benson Ben-son and children were Sunday guests of their mother, Mrs. Josephine Jose-phine Lofthouse. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Smith of Sacramento, California has return ed home Friday after spending the past two weeks visiting relatives rela-tives in Smithfied and Paradise. Mts. Delores Swenson and child ren of Ogden are visiting relatives rel-atives during the week. Mrs. Elva Scheby, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Jensen, Miss Bodell Stens, Mr. and Mrs. Budge Smith and two children and Mr. and Mrs. J. . Wilson were among the Logan Log-an visitors who attended the First ward bazaar on Friday night. The Bazaar proved to be the biggest event for many years and was successful in every way. |
