The petition of Niels Johnson and others of Ephraim asking that the cone ty court lay ont a new road leading from Ephraim to where it intercepts the county road running on the west side of the Sanmtch and leading north. On motion Selectmen Select-men Sorenson, Xielson and Eemp were appointed a committee to investigate the proposed road and report. Selectman Kielson in behalf of the committee reported upon the road and recommended that au appropriation, be made for the purchasing of plank etc, for the construction of. bridges. On motion mo-tion $150 was appropriated for this purpose. On motion a committee of two were appointed to confer with the committee from Emery county relative to a county road between Emery and Sanpete conn tee. On motion a standing appropriation of $10 was made in favor of Mrs. Dryer of Fair flew to be expendee under the direction of Selectman Kielson. On motion the entire taxes of Matt Mohlin of Fairview were remitted in full. On motion court adjourned nntil S o'clock p. m. Soclock p. m. On motion a committee of four Jndge Jacob Johnson, Selectmen Sorenson Soren-son and Nieleon and Attorney Erickson weie appointed to meet with the territorial hoard of equalization at Salt Lake to resist the proposed raise of taxes.
