Show rites saturday for victim of truck crash fourth highway fatality recorded with death of theodore johansen the fourth highway fatality in morgan county within the past two months claimed the life of theodore vernon vemon johansen 20 son of arthur J and louella little johansen milton who was fatally injured early wednesday morning at 1 i am one fourth mile west of morgan city limits on highway 30 according to investigating officers the light pickup pick i up p truck driven by mr air johansen side swiped a truck loaded with turkeys driven by milton E wooley 42 of lapoint utah the pickup pick up went out of control travelled about feet and tipped over throwing mr air johansen out on the road ile he was given treatment by dr E al abbott at the scene and taken to ogden by the morgan city and county ambulance but was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital the pickup was totally demolished and about damage was done to the poultry truck both vehicles were removed to morgan no citations were given pending investigation by officers mr johansen was born at morgan june 26 1929 lie ile was a graduate of morgan high school a and nd an employed of the O ogden oden den union Raily way and depot c company lie ile is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters james J johansen and mrs air s peggy rees morgan mrs airs clara clar nelson santa maria calif and his grandmother mrs airs clara little of gridley calif funeral services will be conducted saturday at 2 pm at the larkins funeral home in ogden under direction of bishop C P of milton ward burial will be in milton cemetery |
