Show 0 P A officials of summit county honored june 26 three summit county citizens were honored wednesday june 20 at a program held at the uptown theatre salt lake city for volunteers in the four year fight against shortages and rising prices lyle H brown and warren 11 II dunn of coalville Co alville and carl E henefer Ife received ribbon badges with four gold Vs signifying four years or more service as board members administering the price control and fatio rationing ning regulations these untiring workers have donated hundreds of hours of their time on behalf of the stabilization program members of the original north summit district war price and rationing board when it was first organized they have served as board members until the th e present time other coalville Co alville citizens to receive awards for service as volunteer board members are ralph wright harold E W grow and jack jones more than 2010 volunteers from five counties now under und erthe the juris diction fo the salt lake city price control board wasatch tooele thoele summit salt lake and siruth davis received war service awards consisting of certificates ribbon badges and distinguished service pins denoting the length and type of service mayor earl J glade of salt lake city welcomed the volunteers and expressed the gratitude of the community for their patriotic services 11 grant ivins utah district director of the office of price administration presented the awards |
