| Show JUT FOR FUN BUT A LOT OF T TRUTH R UTI I 1 we see the cars go spinning down the highway one by one the folks are all out riding and j they think its lots of fun their car it Is a new one and they ride in stately pride they used to drive a buggy buga now they want a faster ride ride their faces all are wreathed with smiles as they journey on their way they can travel a great distance and get back that very day they turn and wave both right and left to friends who they all know then father steps upon the gas and says now watch us go they watch an opportunity to pass each car in line while thoughts are going thru their th minds ah oh boy this car is rine but the first of the month comes rolling around and they find that their bills are due some of them are old ones and one of them Is new which says please come to our office fice make a payment on the car then ma she turns to pa and says now see just whee we are I 1 told you when we bought this thing we stand the gaff but all that I 1 could get from you was just a hearty laugh you said oh we will pay for it but now we are in distress so plo you cant have that pair of shoes nor I 1 my promised dress we see this same thing happen just many and many a time when a man will buy a brand new car when he scarcely has a dime sometimes his wife is with him sometimes he takes the blame but whoever Is responsible they buy it just the same they think it will be easy that the payments will be few but they hardly make the first one til the second one is due now the car I 1 drive is a model T but it gets me there in time and though it is old and shabby I 1 know that it is mine by RICHARD S RAWLE |
