MRS AIRS E RICH TO BE HONORED AT OPEN HOUSE open house honoring mrs em emma E rich on her eighty first birtha birthday danwill will be given by members of the family sunday june ath at the home of her daughter mrs F L parkinson friends are invited to call from two to six p in mrs rich was born june luth 1859 in new york daughter of wm win and emma hemming she came to utah when a child crossing the plains in a handcart hand eart company in 1860 she came to morgan the samp year and has resided here ever since she married jas T rich dec 27 1877 moved to richville and ai 11 children were born to them 6 of whom are living I 1 her husband died march 1918 she was an active church worker having served for 17 years as counselor in the relief society and then was chosen president and served for 25 years until her health failed and she was released she has 6 living children 30 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
