Show marion mcbride again conducts fair rodeo at the monday night meeting of the morgan county fair board marion mcbride of cache valley was employed to provide the rodeo for the morgan county fair which will be held september 3 4 and 5 mr mcbride put on the rodeo last year r which was enjoyed by these who saw it this year mr mcbride states that he has better horses than thal 1 a year ago and is prepared to I 1 give a better program than we had in 1935 errol eddington chairman of tile the fair board reports that all board members and department supervisors are busy working out the details for the 1936 fair the committee on concessions has asked for bids for operating concession privileges at the fair these bids should be in the hands of theron taggart chairman of the MORGAN GIRLS 4 11 CLUBS MAKE TOUR oil cn wednesday august 5 the girls 4 11 clubs of morgan county made an organized tour to points of interest in salt lake city ten cars left the courthouse shortly after 9 a in to salt lake city some of the outstanding visits of the day were to the st state ate penitentiary and the state capitol lunch was served and the noon period spent in liberty park the eighty club members who joined us on the tour were all very cooperative their conduct was a credit to morgan county says murcy nelson home demonstration agent who conducted the tour committee on august 15 it is expected that the committee will meet shortly after this date and award the concession rights to the high bidders plans for the parade are going forward under the direction of peter evans representing the morgan lions club the fair board will appreciate preci ate the cooperation of all organizations and business houses sn in the preparation of the parade aa well as other features of the county fair mr eddington and other board members are enthusiastic over the prospects for a successful fair |
