| Show MORGAN LIONS CLUB BANQUET THEIR LADIES DIES about 61 lions wives and guests were in attendance at the lions ladies night frolic at the M H S gym last thursday night st valentine decorations were used and everyone present had to make a valentine write a verse on it and send it to some one present the receiver arose and read the verse aloud lion C R richards led the singing and how those lions did roar A quartette composed ol of J J johnson james palmer E IL E anderson and H M neeley delighted the guests with a number of songs and solos ake sung by E E anderson and H M neeley and mrs daisy crouch gave a delightful reading A three r ourse course luncheon was served by the home economics dep department ariment of M H S in charge of miss palmer when seated at the table the ladles ladies were asked to remove one of their slippers following which they were placed in a pa pile and the gentlemen required to take one ot of them and the lady to whom it belonged was his dinner partner for the first course for the second course the gent was required to move up four chairs tor for his partner and again four chairs chaTs for his third partner following the luncheon bunco and cards were played mrs elsie heiner and fred parkinson winning the high scores suffice it to say the program committee did its stuff and it the entertainment goes down ile lii the big book as the best best time ever there was something doing every minute ly M U the business session lion san fd chairman of the educational 51 submitted a plan for the celb to give lve two iwo gold medals ax at eich each annual graduation of M H S td the boy and girl being the best besa example of citizenship the plan was vas endorsed by unanimous vote 0 A small sina 11 ll d deficit eale if remaining on the community christmas tree expense was by unanimous vote ordered paid |
