"I haven't felt so wall in years as I do since I began taking Tanlac, and although I have taken only four bot-tles I have gained ten pounds," said James Macey, 3617 East Howe street, Tacoma, Wash. , "I had suffered from stomach trou-ble ever since I was a boy, and during the last few years my condition had gradually grown worse. ' My appetite was very poor and I could not eat a thing without suffering afterward. My food would soui and ferment right after eating, gas would form and bloat me up until I could hardly stand them. My head ached Just about all the time and I Often had such terrible dizzy spells I would have to grab hold of something to keep from falling.. I suffered a great deal from colds, and was subject to severe coughing spells that were especially bad nights and mornings. "I also had rheumatism in my hands and hips so bad I could hardly get around and do my work. My nerves ere so badly upset I could get but little sleep and in the mornings it was all I could do to get out of bed. ,1 lost much weight and 'became so bad-ly run-dow- n and weak, felt so tired and worn out all the time I just had to force myself to do my work. "I heard so much about Tanlac that I got some and it went right after my case. FYr the first tim8 in years I have a splendid appetite, can eat any-thing I want and never have a parti-cle of trouble. I never have a head-ache or become dizzy, the rheumatism has left me entirely and I can get around and do my work as good as I ever could. "My nerves are in good condition, I sleep well and always feel refreshed on getting up. The coughing spells have stopped and I Just feel good all the time." Tanlac Is sold in Bingtiam by W. H. Woodring, druggist, and by the lead-ing druggist in every city. the country before locating the ore channel. "The southeastern section of the mine was Just recently turned over to lessees as the oe chute had become so small that it would not pay on com-pany account. "We have not been successful dur-ing the year in securing a contract for our pyrite ores, althouga we have made trial shipments amounting to some 500 tons. "During the year we have installed 2300 feet of thirty-poun- d rail on the 700 level, as the ground was very heavy and soft on the bottom. It was necessary that this work be done to keep the level open. , The balance of the mine has been kept and is at the present time in fairly good condition. "We are at the present time work-ing but one shift of two men and this work will have to be discontinued un-less new funds are available and as we have borrowed to our limit, and and are now called upon to pay these obligations, the only thing left for us to do is to levy an assessment suffi-cient to meet these obligations and provide a working fund so that it will be possible to continue the develop-ment work mentioned above." The financial statement shows there was a balance on December SI of $949.04, but with accounts payable since January 1 totaling $1,649.48. Re-ceipts for the year amounted to and included ore sales of notes payable $32,000, and an overdraft of $1,437.07. The disburse-ments amounted to the total receipts. CRITICISMS ON TEN CENT ASSESSMENT ARE ANSWERED Report Is Issued by Officials of Mining Company. The following report has been I?"-- "" nBssn.nsssnsn-- ns i issued by Jesse Knight, president of the Rico Wellington Mining company, and Hugh Trenbolm, general man-ager, in reply to some criticisms in relations to the recent levy of an as-sessment of 10 cents. a "As stated in our last year's re-port, about the first of March a very nice body of ore was opened up 112 feet above the 700 level, or Mountain Springs tunnel, and we have since that time mined ore from this stope to the northwest, for approximately 110 feet At this point we have struck a fault which cut our ore off entirely. knnnBBMBBBnBBfaaBHMra - We have done in the neighborhood of 140 feet of crosscutting 'and sinking In an endeavor to pick this ore up again, but up to the present nave not been successful. ' "From all indications the ore fault-ed downward and we have Just com-pleted a drift on the main level 450 feet to the northwest, from which point we have commenced an upraise to pick up, if possible, the faulted sec-tion of the ore. While we have every reason to believe that the ore will make beyond this raise and It might also be necessary for us to crosscut Report of condition of the FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF 6ING-- .
