The High School GRASS CREEK aocwoHOOOoowasmuweoooowpopooooMHOHOooHWOHso events, educationally, history of the northern portion of Summit County. On the above date the high school which the people of this district have looked forward to with patience and interest will begin its active career. The school will be held in the new modern district school building on the hill. No effort has been spared on the part of chool board to supply the students with everything for their comfort and welfare. The beating, lighting and ventilating of the building is practically perfect. Most of the top floor hag been fitted out for the use of the high school with tbe newest and latest type of school furniture. Especial attention has been paid to comfort and sanitation. The faculty is made up of tbe beat teachers that could be secured by the board. The latter stands behind the faculty ready and willing to furnish everything in their power for the convenience and necessity of tbe students. All you who are for education remember that now is the time to bow your patriotism. Now is the time to show your willingness to bnild up the cemmunity and to support home interests. Booat your community. We need your aupport. Why send your children away to other places when they can secure the same thing at borne? If you will patronize tbe school it will soon grow and equal any In tbe community. Probably no high aohool in the atAte has started out with better equipment or better prospects. But remember, no school can run without students. Boys and girls, come to school and get an education. The world needs you, but you can servo it better if you have an education. Get in touch with the great world move meats. The school shows you how to do it. The young man or woman who says, I cant afford to go to school, I must jet out and mako makes a mistake. What stake, has he to show for his last years work? or his last two, three or four yoara work? Will he do bettor next year? It is very doubtful. On the other hand, the young man or woman who has had the courage to go to school has secured someting that can never be taken from him and which will be a continual service throughout his entire life. How many times a day do we hear the lamentable expression, I wish I had gohe to school when I had the chance! The idea pie vails among certain people here, that in order to attend high school with success, tadents must go far from home. As a matter of fact the course of study at the local high school includes all subjects required by the state regulation as well as a wide choice of other courses, Includingagriculture, stenography and typewriting. The town has been canvassed for boarding places and a number have been secured. Tbe Coalville Hotel will furnish accommodations for twenty students at $6.00 a week or about 70c a day and will discount for tbe time when the students go home at week ends.
