Bishop, In fcls "My Moor land Patients," tells the story of tw Yorkshire brothers, John and William, Wil-liam, who quarreled one day, and though they lived within a stone's throw of each other vowed never to speak to each other again. They kept their unpleasant vow for forty years, till one day John fell 111 and on his, deathbed sent for his brother. William, Wil-liam, full of remorse, went to him and they spent the dying mun's last hours talking nf old times.
