Show Last Rites Held Neld For Mrs Alice Woolley Y n rw R r N M f 1 S ti I I 1 t I 1 ft y J J Funeral services were held on Wednesday June 28 at 2 pm p.m. inthe in inthe m the ManU Manti North Ward Vard Chapel for Mrs Alice Snow Woolley 85 who died Sunday June in a j Salt Lake City hospital after a brief illness She was born in Manti Monti Utah August 9 9 1881 a daughter of Gardner E. E E and Esther Cox Snow pioneer residents of the community She attended public schools in ManU Manti and in Salt Lake City graduating from the Brigham Young Academy in Provo in June 1903 She married Erastus Dilworth Woolley on Sept 9 1903 in the ManU Manti Temple Mrs Woolley was a lifelong member of the Church being being being be be- ing active in the Relief Society and Daughters of the Utah Pio Pio- veers She was also active in civic civic and cultural affairs having presided over the Ladies Literary Literary Literary Liter Liter- ary Club and other tio lions At the age of 55 after her famil family Y was raised she became interested in art studied under many of Utah's leading landscape landscape landscape land land- painters and developed an original interpretation of pioneer pioneer pioneer pio pio- neer dwellings in Sanpete County County County Coun Coun- ty and Alpine landscapes in the Wasatch Mountains She has exhibited exhibited exhibited ex ex- her work at the Utah State Capitol Springville Art Center and Snow College Survivors include her husband four children Dilworth S.
