D Nielson and City Treasurer Wilma Cox This duo of city employees were very active in the whole project Calvin kept a sharp lookout for any beautification work going on and promptly got pictures of the same when it was discovered Wilma in turn kept a neat scrapbook of these events which were entered in the con con- test Our thanks to you both for a job well done My only comment is that if the city keeps on winning the plaques I will have to follow my wife's and plant planta a lawn next spring A vacation is a period of recreation preceded by a period period pe pe- nod of anticipation followed by a period of recuperation In just over two weeks from now Coach Wilbur Braithwaite will be looking over prospects for his 67 1966 basketball team Conditioning starts on Nov 1st with the actual tryouts to begin on November This years year's squad will have big shoes to fill in defending the state championship position But Coach Braithwaite feels that he might have some players which could give nIS l a strong team although below last years year's No 1 crew Education Is what you have left over when you subtract what youve you've forgotten from what you learned For all you parents who are confused over the new modern math now being taught in our schools be sure to read the article article article ar ar- that appeared in last months month's Readers Digest entitled Why Parents Cant Can't Add Doctor Follow this diet and md andin andin in two months I want to see three-fourth three of you back inhere inhere in inhere here for a checkup |
