Show News Of Manti Men g In Uniform Off For Nav Navy Training Mr Mi and Mrs Grant Dyreng were in Salt Lake City on Friday and Saturday of last week with their son Gaylen while he received his Navy examinations s. s He left Salt Lake City Saturday night for the Naval Training center at San Diego Mr and Mrs Mis Dyreng entertained at a turkey dinner in his honor honora a week ago Wednesday with several several sev sev- eral of Gaylen's boy friends in hi attendance Xmas on Okinawa Don bon son of Mr and Mrs Alvin spent Christmas on Okinawa this year He has been on the island for about a year now and has been in the army for a year and a half A Christmas package sent by his folks reached Don on December 17 and he has written his folks to thank them for getting it in the mail soon enough to r reach ach him for the holiday Don is a member of an antiaircraft antiaircraft antiaircraft anti anti- aircraft unit on Okinawa and says in letters that they are arc kept on duty or close at hand at all times since the Korea affair The lack of passes and monotony of duty I I makes the time pass slowly Don writes but he says he would still rather be on Okinawa than in Kor Kor- ea ca X Back on Okinawa Corporal Darrel Tucker has written written writ writ- ten to his dad Reuben Tucker to say he is back on Okinawa after a month in Korea He went to Korea with a group of Air Corps Military Police and they were given given en duty near Seoul When the Chinese came barging down the Korean peninsula the Air Corps was pulled back and Darrel and about 30 others were returned to Okinawa Darrel first went to i Okinawa about a year ago Ia 1 May Come Home Mr and Mrs MiSs Wilford Carlson Carison have received word from their son Rex that he may be returning to the states soon after serving M.
