RO ID 11 ORK COMPLETED B F ELLENT SH YPE WE A dumary road work done in delta sponsored by the delta liona club and other civic organizations is as follows actual cash expended 24 r aj blocks graded 23 blocks graveled 21 loads hauled 1 yards hauled 2 actual worth of grale grael 2 it was tl it e idea of 0 the committee to gravel those roads which needed it the worst and then go with the roads which were in a litle title better shape and finith as mana man this spring as was possible in 0 der to get so many roads grav aled hi t was necessary not to make th h e gravel too thick and it was ilas thourl t advisable to put on only as much as could be economically spread and taken c cre re of the lown board state and county were big factors in making this roa I 1 nork go so tar far as they were liberal in donating equipment and men to do the job and they really did the grading entirely in all it was a very successful move and one that will be a big benefit to the town the comm atee and lions club wishes to thank all who helped and especially those men who donat rid old and teams for the gravel hauling
