Show MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES VERY impressive memorial day services were held monday nl at the cemetery under the direction of rill billmore more post 61 of the american legion and tho auxiliary and the utah national gut guard a rd commander howard jolina johns conducted the exercises the memorial prayer was read by oils mayor james A kelly gave the address and mrs ethel baker read a tribute to the gold star mothers of tilts this district mrs C F brunson lead the group assembled in singing the star spangled banner and the salute was ired fired by members of the american legion taps were sounded by wilford ott busier bugler for ill tho 0 local unit of 0 the national guard captain george huntsman lavoy kimball mark paxton and wilford were in uniform following the short service lags flags were placed on oil the graves of the departed soldiers resting in the fillmore cemetery the short service was very impre prescille silve and was a fitting tribute to the departed comrades ot of the men who came back A similar service was hold held at the holden cemetery by the same group |
