Show 01 ron fort UNDER CHILDREN thirty boys and girls between the ages of 0 9 and 12 are enjoying the benefits bonet lla offered by the christmas seal health camp being conducted by the utah tuberculosis association in big cottonwood canyon about four our miles allied down from brighton the crimp camp Is for the benefit of 0 underprivileged and undernourished children and isi is under the direction of miss aliss florence R F west a public health nurse who has had considerable experience peri ence in child health training and public health work miss west Is being assisted by aless metta carter and mrs airs Fann ioE E miles allies the dally daily pro program grani of the camp is from 7 A M until P al three thred wholesome meat and a eld morning and mid afternoon lunch of 0 milk find and graham crackers with a two hour rest period at I 1 P al and daily sun baths in fit the mornings are arc features ot of the health building routine supervised recreation handwork health lessons poster making singing and radio programs constitute the entertainment tain ment each child will keep an individual record dof of salna gains made during ill the camp will remain open opell until the latter part of august children at the camp tills this year were selected from salt lake city ogden logan layton and richfield rich field in some cases organizations are sponsoring children but lie he main part of the expense will bede be defrayed by the proceeds of the annual christmas seal sale visitors other than parents ot of the children will not be allowed to enter camp except upon special invitation the parents of the children may visit on sundays from 3 until C G P M no one under 15 years of age will bo be permitted to visit tile the c camp a nip at any time because of the danger of carrying contagious diseases |
