Show HARDING INVITED TO j ADDRESS THE EDITORS j Washington, April 5 President i Harding is shaping plans for his Al- f aska trip next summer so that he ; can attend the 37th annual conven- j ! tion of the National Editorial Associ- i j ation to be held at Missoula, Mon-! tana, eary in July. The President is; a paid up member of the National Editorial Association and proud of his affiliation with this organization of newspaper owners. Such an ad-j dress would be of national interest. Preparations are made for two special de luxe trains to transport the editors during their entire tour: of twenty-one days, starting and end-; ing at Chicago. j Besides visiting Yellowstone and j Glacier National Parks, the newspa- j per party will travel over the vast : stretch of Montana, stopping in 20 cr ' more towns and passing through the I mining and agricultural districts j of the state. Part of the journey will j be by water, up Flathead Lake, which j is one of the many scenic spots that j lie outside of Yellowstone and Glac- ier X'ational Parks. j Missoula is making extensive ar-l rangements to entertain the visitors i during the three days they will be ; there for the convention. All the oth- j er towns on the itinerary are vyine . with one another in plans to show heir hospitality. ; Special entertainment will be provided pro-vided in Yellowstone Park, where the j. semi-centennial celebration of this national playground will be in full swing. And, later on the trip, when the editors arrive in Glacier Park they will be greeted in a picturesque pictures-que manner by the or'ginal Inhabitants Inhabi-tants of the Rocky Mountain country the Blarkfeet Indians, who still stick-to stick-to their tribal custom of registering their arriving guests with the mam-mouth mam-mouth o.uill of the Golden Eagle. |
