Show Mr. and Mrs. Heber Ashworth of Beaver, who have been for the past two months in San Francisco, visiting visit-ing their daughter. Mrs. Josio Gil-sin, Gil-sin, arrived in Milford Thursday of last wee kand spent a couple of days with Mr. and Mrs. Karl Levi and family, returning to their home on Saturday morning. ' Mist Alice Frizzell entertained a fev friends at her home Saturday eveiiing of last week. Those served at luiicheen were Helen Ruth Ward, Maxim1 l.ordsloy, Ruth Elmer. Mar-Ian Mar-Ian Neff Margaret Brooks. Elwood Jelfcrson. Victor Carlson, Dalton Brooks. Rnlon Bird, Charles Glenn and little Billy Frizzell. On January 26. t'ao Vicuiry Theatre Thea-tre gave the entire proceeds of t':e evening for the benefit of the European Euro-pean fund. The show was well attended. at-tended. A neat sum of $30 dollars was sent, to the relief of the distressed distress-ed conditions in the Near East. Mrs. N. B. Schow entertained al her home Monday evening for '.ior daughter, Alice's 14th birthday anniversary. an-niversary. The rooms were festooned with pink and blue crepe paper and in the dining room the luncheon was served. Covers were laid for 12 guests, and at each plate was a dainty card of blue and which with pink rose buds painted on. A delirious deli-rious dinner was served by the hostess hos-tess assisted in serving by her daughter dau-ghter and Miss Alice Ward. After '.he dinner, thr remainder of the evening ev-ening was spent with gaini"-'. Those present were Alice Ward. Dorothy Murdock. Dorothy Turly. Virginia Nichols. Madeline Coward. May has returned from f!"ivr where he has been for the past two weeks, working up a theatrical troupe. Hp says he has a line cast and has played once In Heaver end once in Paragoonah with fine results anil be feels tb.-t he will soon have , v. troupe equal to that of the v.'al-Me-'s Stock company. The little infant child of Mr. and Mr I. en Roberts, who has been ve-I ve-I ry ill with pneumonia, this past week, is now out of danger. |
