Show MISS SMITHSOV IS PRIDE OF MB, C. W. MATHEUS, Jit. j i The marriage of Geraldine Smith-1 son to Mr. Charles William Ma'h-i ous. Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles ', ', William Matheus. was solemnized last evening at the home of the; bride's brother-in-law and sister. Mx and Mrs. I. Y Mackintosh. Rev. T. A. Hilton read the service at 8:30 o'clock in a beautiful setting set-ting of dogwood, greens and pink-tinted pink-tinted apple blossoms. Miss Winni-fred Winni-fred Bateman played the Lohengrin j wedding march and before the ser-; vice Mr. Jack Killum sang. "O Prom 1 ise Me." and "At Dawning," Ellen Mackintosh and Margaret Jane Mackintosh were the attractive : little flower girls and wore organ-! die frocks in peach tones, trimmed with circlets of lace and carried dainty dain-ty baskets of apple blossoms. The tittle ring bearer was Elizabeth Mack ; intosh. Her cunning frock was of i orchid-shaded organdie and had lace i circlets for. trimmings. She carried the ring hidden among the petals of' a calla lily. Miss Gladys Irene Loer, as maid of honor wore for her gown jade green georgette and a broad drooping green hat, ostritch trimmed. Her flowers were an arm bouquet of apple blossoms blos-soms tied with flowing streamers of pink and white tulle. The bride coming in with her brother-in-law. Mr. Mackintosh, wore her sister's, Mrs. Mackintosh's wedding gown, of heavy creme crepe fashioned with a draped skirt caught up on one side with orange blo-ssoms and an over-drapery of georgette crepe trimmed with wide bands of Maltese lace. Iridescent beads embroidered em-broidered the bodice and her long tulle veil was arranged with plaits in the backhand a lira of Maltese lace and orange blossoms. Orchids, bride's roses and lilies of the valley in a srower formed her lovely bou-puet. bou-puet. Mr. George Appleton Hawley acted as best man for Mr. Matheus. A reception followed the ceremony The supper table, presided over by Mrs. J. W. Mackintosh, Mrs. George S. Naier, Mrs. Denton B. Mackintosh and Mrs. George Appleton Hawley, had a charming centerpiece a wide basket filled with apple blossoms. Miss Alice Taft. Miss Elizabeth Kellogg Kell-ogg and Miss Jeane Mackintosh assisted. as-sisted. Mr. and Mrs. Matheus left on a short wedding trip, the bride traveling travel-ing in a three-piece costume of blue tricotine, trimmed in gray, with which she wore gray hose and shoes, a hat of blue trimmed In gray and a corsage of orchads and bride's roses.
