Show BOOTLEGGERS. BEWARE! : Last Monday Judge Burton at Nephi, sentenced two women to pay a fine of $1000 each and (not or) spend six months in the Juab county jail for maintaining a common and public nuisance, and one woman and three men to pay $250 each or not to exceed ex-ceed six months in the county jail, and that the sheriff be allowed $100 costs and that $350 be allowed as attorney's fees and that $47.20 court coats be allowed al-lowed and that the property in which the men and women operated and known as the "Coal Chutes" at Eureka, Eu-reka, be declared a nuisance and closed clos-ed for one year, and that the sheriff shall sell all personal property.' That the fines and costs shall be a lien upon all the property, both personal and real, and the officer of Juab county are required to collect such fines and costs as provided by law for the collection of taxes. |
