Show SECOND SHIPMENT FROM CROFT MINE This week the second car of ore was loaded at Milford from the Lincoln district and shipped to the smelters. The returns from the carload car-load shipped recently were very satisfactory, sat-isfactory, yielding a return of $49.-83 $49.-83 per ton. The car being loaded this week is erpected to run much higher, as it is the first shipment taken from the rich lead vein recently opened up in the Croft mine. C. D. Hasler, president of the company, com-pany, informs us that they have completed com-pleted a new ore chute and a crew of men will be maintained steadily in the Croft mine getting out ore, while another force of men were put to work Tuesday of this week cleaning out the old North American shaft, where they expect to secure ore of even higher values than they are taking tak-ing from the Croft property. It is the intentions of the com. pany to open up all their holdings in the district as fast as possible and get each one on a productive basis in the next few months. Since writing the above, Dr. J. E. Morton and F. A. Davis, of Salt Lake City, who are interested in the above company, were in Beaver with some samples of ore taken from a new strige in the Croft mine, that is exceptionally ex-ceptionally rich in lead and silver, and carrying considerable gold values val-ues They also report that work started yesterday on taking out ore at the North American property which has just been opened up, and the grade of ore they are now working work-ing in promises to be richer than previously taken from this mine. The company expects to ship two cars of ore regularly each week for the present, but predict that the properties pro-perties will bon on a much larger production pro-duction basis in the near future.
