Show Charlie Chaplin Married Nogales, Ariz., Charles' Chaplin, screen actor, and Lita Grey, his leading lead-ing lady, were married in Empalme, according to a dispatch from Guay-mas. Guay-mas. The wedding took place in the presence of a small circle of friends, including the bride's mother and grandmother, the dispatch said. Francisco Fran-cisco Esque and Paul Ramierez were witnesses for the bridegroom and Angel An-gel Murillo of Guaymas and Francisco Fran-cisco Monque of Empalme acted as witnesses for the bride, who is otherwise other-wise known Lillita Louise Murray. Judge Antonio Faro performed the ceremony, the dispatch said. The bride and her mother returned to Guaymas after the wedding and were joined there by Mr. Chaplin. |
