Show Lions Hold Luncheon The Milford Lions fed last Wednesday Wed-nesday noon at the Deanery. The bylaws by-laws were amended so as to provide for the admission of "out of the city limits" members at a minimum rate. A committee from Salt Lake, representing rep-resenting the .Deseret News holiday edition, met with the club and asked the cooperation of the Milford people peo-ple in getting the county and town adequately represented by pictures, and a writeup. The price asked was $4 00 psi page. The club pledged its assistance assis-tance and President Lewis was au-tVirri-7arl tn nnnm'nt n. committee to work with a like committee' from other parts of'the county in the pre paration of an article and choosing pictures for the special issue. The program committee, W. W. 'larkham chairman, had a very inter esting program arranged. The following topics were assigned assign-ed and the members responded as follows: Parrish Milford's present period of adolescence. Hillary Why I always ship my goods by parcels post. Lewis What I am going to do when my wife leaves town. W. A. Miller What I learned about women from her. Al. Cline My present vs. my pas conduct. Carlton Where and when I got my training as a soprano-disgusto-. Noorda Why I put holes in tne cinnamon rolls. Kirk How I was inc'ticed to sign up for the 1025 Chautauqua. W. F. Miller If I should marry. The next luncheon will be at the Atkin cafe October 14. |
