Show CHIEF OP TOLICE WINS TheVictory Rebekah lodge entertained enter-tained Wednesday evening with a card party in the I. O. O. F. hall, which proved to be a great success, both socially and financially. The banquet room, with its jack o' lanterns, black cats and other decorations decor-ations indicating Hallowe'en, accommodated accom-modated moro than seventy-five persons. per-sons. Mrs C. C. Sloan was fortunate in winning high prize. Mrs. Ernst was given consolation. Sam Hickman won men's first prize, and last hut not least, Jack McKeon was honored with consolation, the prize being a policeman's whistle, which was very appropriate. The luncheon was delicious and a very pleasant evening was enjoyed by all present. I |
