Show WHY NOT A HAND? Has Milford a band? AVhen we asked the ciuestion, someone answered, answer-ed, "Yes." Since that time we have been waiting patiently for some visible visi-ble proof, but as yet It has failed to materialize. We have musicians In our midst talent that could be easily whipped into a first class band. But bands, like many other things that go to make a town a better bet-ter place in which to live, do not long exist unless given proper encouragement encourage-ment and support from the citizens. A good live band is one of the best booster organizations a town can have. Why can't we get behind this propostion and encourage our musicians musi-cians to form a band or resurrect the one we have and then help them help put Milford on the map? A public band concert one evening each week would afford pleasure for our citizens, bring people in from the rural districts, stimulate tarde, and the cost, properly distributed, would not be prohibitive. Think it over! XJ |
